M4M - Minds for the Millennium

Minds for the Millennium is a non-profit organization created by a group of young enthusiastic individuals. Noting the lack of educational facilities in underprivileged areas of Toronto, M4M hopes to build a better community by providing youths with an after-school homework program, and also by acting as strong role models for the children. Dedicated volunteers are always welcome!

Care First

Care First is a charitable, non-profit community based social services agency operating within the Greater Toronto Area. Care First specializes in providing a comprehensive range of high quality community support services, with goals to improve the quality of living for our seniors as well as those with disabilities or special needs in the community.
Care First is a United Way member agency.
AF is holding a joint fundraiser with Care First, volunteer opportunities are also available.
Scott Mission

The Scott Mission is a shelter and food bank for the poor in the downtown community located at 502 Spadina Avenue in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The staff and volunteers hope to bring physical, spiritual, and emotional wholeness to those who seek the Scott Mission for help.
AF holds monthly group volunteering sessions at the Scott Mission.
Youth Assisting Youth

Youth Assisting Youth is a is a community-based program that matches youth volunteers, aged 16 to 29, in a one-on-one relationship with "at risk" children aged 6-15. The children are experiencing social, emotional, behavioural or cultural adjustment problems. The goal of the organization is to provide a positive role model through a "special friend" relationship. Since 1976, YAY's unique service has served more than 10,000 children and youth.
AF fundraises and provides volunteer opportunities for YAY.
